The Daily Wire is reporting that Dr. Ethan Haim, a surgeon from Texas who exposed a children’s hospital for performing transgender surgeries, has been indicted by the Biden DOJ.
Armed agents confronted Haim at his home early Tuesday morning; he’s being charged with four felonies related to an alleged HIPAA violation; Haim maintains his innocence.
“Had three heavily armed agents at my door 7AM Tuesday to inform me I was indicted with four felonies…for blowing the whistle about the largest children’s hospital in the world lying to the public about their transgender program,” Haim shared on X.
“They wanted to intimidate me into silence using every technique the federal leviathan had at their disposal. But they failed. The only way to lose is to submit to corruption. It’s time to fight back harder than ever!” Haim said in another post.
According to The Daily Wire, “The indictment was first reported by journalist Christopher Rufo, who was also the journalist who reported on Haim’s initial whistleblower claims. Rufo says nothing shared with him would have constituted a HIPAA violation.”
“For my own part, I can confirm that nothing in the information provided to me identified any individual; all the documents were, in fact, carefully redacted,” Rufo said.
“It’s my responsibility as a doctor, as a physician, to expose this to the public,” Haim said. “If I don’t, then this abuse can continue. I knew that future generations, like my children, would never be able to forgive me if they knew I had the chance to do something and I decided to stay silent.”
“It requires average, everyday doctors to stand up and speak out against things like this,” he said.
Haim started a GiveSendGo campaign to help with legal expenses; he’s made more than $350K.
“This fund will support offensive legal action against those who have abused their professional responsibility in service of radical transgender ideology,” Haim said on GiveSendGo. “Every dollar will work towards dismantling the legal and political regime attempting to keep medical professionals like me silent.”
