Eric Eggers and Seamus Bruner of the Government Accountability Institute stopped by Newsmax to chat with host Rob Schmitt about the Bidens’ busted defense against bribery allegations.
“This ‘illusion of access’ narrative is total hogwash,” said Bruner, GAI’s Director of Research. “We know that Joe Biden was intimately familiar with the deals… it’s kind of like what the Clinton Foundation would do. They would pay, in this case, Hunter Biden — [he] would make it look like the oligarch had access to the highest levels of power in the United States.”
“In the case of Burisma, this is why the Archer testimony was so devastating. We know Burisma wanted this prosecutor fired in Ukraine. Never in the history of our country has the Vice President gone to another country and said ‘Hey, fire this guy or you’re not getting a billion dollars.”
