Eggers calls Musk’s DOGE an “unmitigated success.”
During a recent media appearance, GAI Vice President Eric Eggers and Director of Research Seamus Bruner shared their excitement for Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency.
“What’s your opinion of how Doge is doing so far?” NEWSMAX’s Rob Astorino asked.
“I think it’s an unmitigated success, and as taxpayers, we owe the Trump Administration and Elon Musk and his team a debt of gratitude,” Eggers said. “Think about what you just said $105 billion in savings. That’s something like 3 billion a day plus or more than that.”
Eggers continued: “The Biden Administration was not shy about handing out money to political benefactors and people that were on the right side of their ideological fantasies. And so, finally, somebody has taken budgeting and taxpayer money and being a good fiscal for that seriously and where we can benefit as a result.”

While Musk and his DOGE crew have successfully rooted $105B worth of waste and fraud out of the federal government, it’s come at great cost to the world’s most famous billionaire. During a recent interview with Fox Business’ Larry Kudlow, Musk said his other businesses are suffering.
“How are you running your other businesses?” Kudlow asked.
“With great difficulty,” Musk replied.
“But there’s no turning back, you’re saying?” Kudlow questioned.
After a pause, Musk said he is in the administration “trying to make government more efficient” to eliminate waste and fraud.
“And so far, we’re making good progress, actually,” he said.
