Just one week after announcing an Executive Order aimed at slowing the flow of illegal immigration across the southern border, an internal memo has been uncovered instructing Border Agents in the San Diego sector to release nearly all migrants into the country.

Fox News border correspondent Bill Melugin shared the memo on X.

Specifically, the memo instructs agents to process all single adults from 100+ countries in the eastern hemisphere as NTA/OR, which means “Notice to Appear/Release on Own Recognizance”, except for six countries which are deemed “mandatory referral” countries (Uzbekistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Georgia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan).

President Biden & DHS promised consequences & removal for those who cross illegally between ports of entry after the executive order took effect – but the overwhelming majority of illegal crossers in San Diego sector, including the Chinese, Middle Eastern, & African adults we’ve been showing, are still being released into the U.S. with future court dates, as our coverage has shown repeatedly with Border Patrol mass releases at a trolley station in San Diego.

In addition to the leaked memo which seems to fly directly in the face of the executive order, new reports have surfaced that President Biden is considering mass amnesty for more than one million illegal migrants in an attempt to appease the far-left members of his party.

Fox News reports that “Parole in place has been rumored as a potential move by the administration for months and has been directly called for by immigration advocates. FWD.us, an immigration advocacy group, estimates that there are approximately 1.1 million spouses of U.S. citizens living in the U.S. illegally, and the group says it would add $16 billion to the economy if they were made U.S. citizens.”

Over the weekend, ABC News’ Martha Raddatz called out DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for saying “We will succeed” in securing the border back in 2021.

“That was three years ago. Since then, 6.5 million immigrants have been apprehended along the southern border. It would be very hard to call that a success,” Raddatz told Mayorkas.

“Very hard,” indeed — but they’re going to try.
