During Wednesday’s House Oversight Committee hearing, former Hunter Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski swore in his testimony that Joe Biden was the infamous “Big Guy” during an exchange with Oversight Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH).
“Mr. Bobulinski, who’s the ‘Big Guy?'” Jordan asked.
“Joe Biden,” Bobulinski answered without delay.
“You sure?” Jordan asked.
“One thousand percent sure,” Bobulinski confirmed.
Bobulinski didn’t just speak to affairs regarding Joe and Hunter Biden — the former business associate also took aim at Democrats on the committee during his opening statement and Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell.
“Rep. Dan Goldman and Jamie Raskin, both lawyers, and Mr. Goldman, a former prosecutor with the SDNY from New York, will continue to lie today in this hearing and then go straight to the media to tell more lies,” Bobulinski said. “Hunter Biden’s defense attorney, Abbe Lowell, weaponizes letters to Congress to try to smear my name —”
“Mr. Chairman,” Raskin interrupted.
“The cold hard facts,” Bobulinski continued.
“Mr. Chairman,” Raskin repeated.
“In an attempt to save his [Lowell’s] powerfully connected client and his father,” Bobulinski continued through the interruption. “I challenge Mr. Lowell to make those claims on national television so he can be held accountable for his lies.”
Bobulinski also provided excerpts of his testimony to The Wall Street Journal ahead of the hearing. In these excerpts, Bobulinski confirms Joe Biden is “the brand.”
I want to be crystal clear: From my direct personal experience and what I have subsequently come to learn, it is clear to me that Joe Biden was “the Brand” being sold by the Biden family. His family’s foreign influence peddling operation—from China to Ukraine and elsewhere—sold out to foreign actors who were seeking to gain influence and access to Joe Biden and the United States government.
Joe Biden was more than a participant in and beneficiary of his family’s business; he was an active, aware enabler who met with business associates such as myself to further the business, despite being buffered by a complex scheme to maintain plausible deniability.
Joe Biden. The Brand. The Big Guy. One thousand percent.
