He’s a slippery one, that Hunter Biden.

Between January 2009 and July 2014, Hunter Biden was assigned Secret Service protection —some poor government agent had to follow that disaster around, making sure he didn’t lose incriminating laptops while galavanting all over Asia and Eastern Europe making shady deals.

Usually, thorough travel records are kept for Secret Service protectees —but that doesn’t appear to be the case with Hunter Biden. According to the Epoch Times, an ongoing probe of Biden failed to turn up any travel records from  2010, 2011, or 2013.

Years we know he traveled to Russia and China.

Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Ron Johnson (R-WI), ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and ranking member of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, respectively, want those missing records.

“The USSS’s lack of communications during these years raises questions given that USSS travel records show that Hunter Biden made trips to China and other destinations around the world, including, Russia, Italy, Spain, and Mexico,” Grassley and Johnson wrote in a letter to USSS Director James Murray in January.

“In October 2020, the Secret Service worked extensively with your committees, and agreed to search parameters provided by your offices to identify communications regarding Mr. Biden’s travel. These search parameters did not yield communications for the years 2010, 2011, or 2013,” Murray replied.

Chris Farrell, director of investigations and research for Judicial Watch, told The Epoch Times that it’s “highly improbable” that the Secret Service lost the records —raising even more questions about what may be hiding in them.

“I would not be surprised if there was political pressure on the service to withhold the records because it would be politically damaging to President Biden,” Farrell said.

Grassley and Johnson believe Biden leveraged his father’s position as vice president to benefit himself personally —a case made quite strongly by Peter Schweizer in his bestselling book Red-Handed: How America’s Elites Get Rich Helping China Win.
