It seems that every week a new batch of Hunter Biden emails surface, and every week we have more proof that the Biden family has strong Chinese business ties and possible conflicts of interest. These latest emails from 2014 reveal exchanges between Hunter and his brother-in-law, Jack Owens.

According to Fox News, “Owens…emailed Hunter Biden on May 9, 2014, informing him that his companies, MediGuide America and MediGuide Insurance Services International (MISI), reached a “serious stage’ in negotiations with a China-based insurance company, but said he won’t be able to ‘seal this deal’ without a ‘Chinese Business License.’

“Time pressures are very tight, plus the fact that we do not yet have one has caused a slight credibility bump in the company’s mind, Owens said. “This all translates into a need for a Business License, and one secured very quickly. While this might seem to be a mundane task, I have come to understand that matters such as a Business License can end up taking an inordinate amount of time…..time we just do not have.”

To procure the license for his brother-in-law, Hunter Biden reached out to two associates: Thornton Group Chairman James Bulger and Michael Lin, a member of the Committee of 100.

Here’s where Hunter’s ties to the CCP make an appearance.

“The Committee of 100 [is] a New York-based advocacy group that has reported ties to the United Front, an influence operation of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The Committee of 100 has also had multiple conferences sponsored by China Daily, a media outlet controlled by the CCP,” Fox News reports.

It’s unclear whether or not Owens received the license he needed as a result of Hunter Biden’s CCP contacts. However, what is known is the fact that Owens’ company MediGuide says they have reached  “an agreement with AnyHealth Shanghai” on their website.

About a year later, then-Vice President Joe Biden hosted a luncheon for Chinese President Xi Jinping – and guess who got an invite? Owens. When Biden’s executive assistant Kathy Chung asked Owens to attend the luncheon, he responded with the following: “I would like to attend this one. I know I have passed up everything else, but this is a bit different.”

Different, huh? One wonders why.
