Biden’s re-election effort is in jeopardy — but some still support him…
Episode 174 of The Drill Down podcast is called “Fail to the Chief.” In the episode GAI President Peter Schweizer and Vice President Eric Eggers touch on the lawmakers and cronies still supporting President Biden, despite his cognitive decline and poor performance during the first presidential debate.
But who would still support a failing candidate? and why? Eggers gets into it in this preview.
“Have you paid attention to the people who are calling on Joe Biden to step down? And more importantly, those who have his back,” Eggers said in a recent video post. “Moderates like Jon Tester of Montana and Mike Bennett from Colorado are saying the American people need to see more.”
“Meanwhile, it’s the progressives like AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Ihan Omar that are saying Joe Biden is who we’re going to stick with,” Eggers continued. “Why is that? Because they know what Joe Biden can deliver to them in a second term. Radical progressive policies like tax hikes and the cancelation of medical debt are things like Bernie Sanders and AOC think joe Biden will have to deliver if they are going to support him all the way to a second term.”
