Bill Gates is really cozy with the CCP…
As previously reported by The Drill Down and New York Times best-selling author and president of the Government Accountability Institute Peter Schweizer, Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates has a very close relationship with the CCP.
From DD article ‘Schweizer’s Red-Handed Blows Bill Gates’ Relationship with CCP Wide Open’:
Not only was Gates wildly wrong about China’s ability to censor its population, his company actively helped China to do it. By 2005, the CCP had erected its notorious “Great Firewall” and Microsoft was helping them censor words like “democracy,” “human rights,” “freedom of expression,” “Tibet independence,” and “Tiananmen Square,” on the Microsoft blogging application called MSN Spaces. When a user typed one of the forbidden phrases in, Microsoft gave them an error message. According to Amnesty International, “following a request from Chinese authorities,” Microsoft banned a Chinese journalist and critic of CCP censorship named Zhao Jing in December 2005.
Bill loves China. He makes —and sends —a lot of money there. In fact, according to a 2021 IRS disclosure, The Gates Foundation sent more than $30 million dollars to Chinese organizations.
This includes $2.5 million to the communist nation’s National Health Commission and $1.4 million to its Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
The Drill Down team is not surprised.
Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI), who is set to chair a new House select committee tasked with countering China, says Americans need to keep an eye on every dollar going to China.
“If the last few years have taught us anything, it’s that we need to heavily scrutinize every American dollar that goes to CCP-affiliated entities,” Gallagher told the Washington Free Beacon. “Any American foundation contributing to causes that advance CCP-aligned interests in the developing world has serious questions to answer.”
The Gates Foundation claims the donations are supporting “global health and development public awareness and analysis.”
Remember that Bill Gates defended China’s response to the COVID pandemic.
“China did a lot of things right at the beginning, like any country where a virus first shows up,” Gates told CNN in 2020; “there are a lot of incorrect and unfair things said,” Gates said.
Not sure victims of China’s Zero-COVID policy would agree with Mr Gates.
