This week, it was reported by multiple media outlets familiar with Customs and Border Protection sources that more than 20,000 illegal Chinese migrants have been encountered at the southern border since October 1st, 2023 — that’s not even five months ago.

Fox News border correspondent Bill Melugin reports that many are being encountered in Jacumba, California not far from San Diego. In less than five months CBP has encountered more Chinese migrants than in all of fiscal year 2021 (450).

That’s more than a 4,000% increase.

Chinese nationals are the fastest-growing demographic entering the country illegally. And it’s no surprise they’re entering via California instead of Texas. The Golden State has no National Guardsmen, no razor wire, no highway patrol —it is a sanctuary state that offers taxpayer-funded healthcare to all migrants.

Brandon Judd, the president of the National Border Patrol Council, which represents all rank-and-file Border Patrol agents nationwide, says the majority of the Chinese border crossers are single adult males of military age.

“That is a very scary prospect. We know that China does not like us, we know that we are in the crosshairs of China,” Judd said.

“And they are exporting so many people to our country, and you have to really fear about that.”

“There have been numerous documented instances of Chinese nationals, at the direction of the CCP, engaging in espionage, stealing military and economic secrets,” a group of Republican senators warned last year.

This week, a group of GOP Senators wrote a letter to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to take up the impeachment trial of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayrokas now that impeachment has passed the GOP-led House.

“GOP leadership must push for an impeachment trial for DHS Secretary Mayorkas.” Utah Senator Mike Lee shared on X. “We cannot allow Chuck Schumer to sweep the Biden administration’s border invasion under the rug.”

Will McConnell answer the call?
