Ready for a shocking statistic?
In the latest episode of The Drill Down podcast, Peter Schweizer and Eric Eggers discuss the fact that the U.S. population is now 15% foreign-born; it’s grown by 6.4 million people since Joe Biden took office — larger than the population of 33 states.
“Some people would say ‘That’s cool, if they’re coming through legal channels, we’ll get them assimilated.’ But communities like Springfield, Ohio with their 1/3 population increase of Haitian migrants is indicative of how, when you have surges of people from other places, they do change the face of these communities,” Eggers said.
“Of course they do,” Schweizer chimed in. “That’s why they didn’t put 20,000 Haitians and drop them in Wilmington, Delaware, right? A place where Joe Biden would see how it’s changing his community. They select these places that are not politically connected and are not part of their power base and I think that part of it is intentional.”

Recently, vice presidential candidate and Ohio Senator JD Vance commented on the Haitian migrant influx, saying “The media loves to say that the Haitian migrants — hundreds of thousands of them, by the way, 20,000 in Springfield, but hundreds of thousands of them all across the country — they are here legally.”
“And what they mean is that Kamala Harris used two separate programs, mass parole and Temporary Protected Status. She used two programs to wave a wand and to say, we’re not going to deport those people here,” he continued. “Well, if Kamala Harris waves the wand illegally and says these people are now here legally, I’m still going to call them an illegal alien. An illegal action from Kamala Harris does not make any alien legal. That is not how this works.”
