SCHWEIZER: The Dam Has Broken, Biden Dead Enders Stand Alone.

“The classic features of neurodegeneration.”

This week’s episode of The Drill Down podcast (Fail to the Chief) addresses the fallout from President Biden’s disastrous debate and the inescapable questions about his health. Is the Commander-in-Chief just getting old or is something more serious at play?

GAI President Peter Schweizer and Vice President Eric Eggers analyze a recent NBC News clip in which a doctor reacts to news that a Parkinson’s specialist has been to the White House eight times in eight months. Biden has “the hallmarks of Parkinsonism … I could have diagnosed him from across the mall,” the doctor told NBC News.

“That’s absolutely stunning,” Schweizer says after watching the NBC News clip. “A stunning reversal by the mainstream media — the dam has broken.”

Biden’s health struggles lead to the inevitable question: who’s running the country if the president is increasingly unable to meet the demands of the job? Recent reporting from The Daily Beast suggests that embattled First Son and Laptop from Hell star Hunter Biden is his father’s gatekeeper.

“Having Hunter on the scene is not helping Biden politically, but that’s not what this is about,” The Daily Beast reports. “A Democrat who worked for Biden earlier in his career says simply, ‘Biden stood by him through all the darkest times. This is more of a family thing than a political thing. It has nothing to do with his criminal cases, it’s much more about how the family operates.’”

“His family is standing with him, his wife Jill and sister Valerie, who Democrats relied upon to provide wise counsel—not just cheerleading,” The Beast continues. “His son, Hunter, has been seen at the White House so much lately that one well-connected lawyer/lobbyist Democrat dubbed him ‘the acting chief of staff. He’s the gatekeeper. He’s the one who’s bucking up his dad.’”

Hunter is also reportedly sitting in on White House meetings.

“Hunter doesn’t trust” his father’s old guard of aides, one source told The New York Post. “I think Hunter wants to be there, and POTUS isn’t going to say no.”

One NBC source said the internal reaction among aides was, “What the hell is happening?” after the first son “popped into” multiple meetings and phone calls.

GAI President Peter Schweizer posted on X to remind Americans who Hunter Biden really is:

Reminder: Hunter Biden received a $5 million interest-free, forgivable loan (on behalf of the Biden family) from a Chinese businessman with intel ties in 2017 and it has apparently never been paid back. Now: “Hunter has been seen at the White House so much that one well-connected Dem dubbed him ‘the acting chief of staff. He’s the gatekeeper.'”
