RUSSIA INFILTRATES INFLUENCERS: Bruner Reacts to Tenet Media Bombshell, 'Be Careful Who You Do Business With — Including the FBI' [WATCH]

Government Accountability Institute researcher and author Seamus Bruner joined OAN’s Chanel Rion on Fine Point recently to discuss the news of Tenet Media personalities unknowingly receiving millions of dollars from Russia to create media content; “It’s a fascinating story,” Bruner said.

Merrick Garland and his DOJ indicted two Russian nationals for covertly funding the media company.

“It’s unfortunate for those who are truly victims here. I’ve looked at their reporting — Benny Johnson, Tim Poole, Dave Rubin, and the rest. It doesn’t appear that they changed their messaging at all,” Bruner said.

Bruner continued: “So what’s interesting to me is that this is a very rapidly developed indictment by the Merrick Garland Justice Department, and it’s an election year. So, I would say that you have to be careful who you do business with, of course. I mean, I certainly don’t support Russia at all.”

“They should also be careful in their dealings with the FBI, because we know that Donald Trump
was told repeatedly by James Comey and others that he was not a target of investigation. And look
how that turned out. Lawyer up and be very careful,” Bruner added.

From The Baltimore Sun:

The U.S. Department of Justice indicted a pair of Russian nationals for covertly funding a Tennessee-based media company.

The indictment does not name the company but details within the indictment match Tennessee-based Tenet Media, which hosts Tim Pool’s Culture War Podcast, The Tennessean wrote.

Russian state-run media outlet RT employees Kostiantyn Kalashnikov and Elena Afanasyeva are accused of funneling $10 million to the company by laundering it through foreign shell entities.

Tenet Media’s YouTube channels have been taken down in the wake of the DOJ indictment and the company has closed down. Reporter Tayler Hansen shared the news on X.

“TENET Media has ended after the DOJ indictment and I will now be pursuing other job opportunities so I may continue to report on vital news stories this election season,” Hansen said.

Tenet Media’s founders, Canadian conservative YouTuber Lauren Chen and her husband Liam Donovan, have not publicly commented on the allegations against Tenet.

Chen was fired as a contributor at The Blaze.
