If you were wondering why gas prices are up and Biden’s approval rating is down…

According to a report from Reuters, more than 5 million barrels of oil taken from the strategic reserve were exported to Europe and Asia last month; the average price for a gallon of gas is still hovering around $5 dollars here in the states. This is all part of Biden’s “America Last” policy.

Meanwhile, the Biden Administration continues to blame oil companies for high prices…

“My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of war and global peril. Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you’re paying for the product. And do it now,” Biden tweeted over the weekend.

Say, Mr. President —why don’t you stop giving it away?

Biden was blasted for his comments by the U.S. Oil & Gas Association, who replied ““Working on it Mr. President. In the meantime – have a Happy 4th and please make sure the WH intern who posted this tweet registers for Econ 101 for the fall semester…”

Sick burn from the oil & gas crowd.

Biden was also blasted by Amazon CEO and favorite target of the left Jeff Bezos, who replied “Ouch. Inflation is far too important a problem for the White House to keep making statements like this. It’s either straight ahead misdirection or a deep misunderstanding of basic market dynamics.”

Yeah. It’s now painfully obvious that the Biden Administration may not know exactly how this works —especially if they are yelling at gas and oil companies while exporting critical crude.

“About 1 million barrels per day is being released from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) through October,” Reuters reports. “The flow is draining the SPR, which last month fell to the lowest since 1986.”

A new low for Joe. Here are some damning numbers…

According to Reuters, “[t]he fourth-largest U.S. oil refiner, Phillips 66 (PSX.N), shipped about 470,000 barrels of sour crude from the Big Hill SPR storage site in Texas to Trieste, Italy, according to U.S. Customs data Trieste is home to a pipeline that sends oil to refineries in central Europe.”

“Atlantic Trading & Marketing (ATMI), an arm of French oil major TotalEnergies (TTEF.PA), exported 2 cargoes of 560,000 barrels each, the data showed.”

A new Monmouth University Poll shows the most important issue to voters right is the economy: inflation and gas prices.

“Sixty-three percent say either inflation, gas prices, the economy or everyday bills/groceries is their family’s top concern (inflation and gas prices alone combined for 47%),” NBC  reports.

November is gearing up to be a bloodbath.
