Key Points

  • Mainstream media outlets are just now reporting that Hunter Biden’s laptop is real.
  • The news is making rounds after Politico reporter Ben Schreckinger released a book.
  • But The Drill Down’s Peter Schweizer reported on the Biden laptop last year.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before…

Hunter Biden lost a laptop with incriminating emails on it. These emails from 2015, buried by the Bidens and the establishment media during the 2020 election cycle, tell a fascinating tale of Hunter’s shady dealings abroad. Corruption, ethics violations, pay-to-play – it’s all there.

Well, according to a new book by Politico reporter Ben Schreckinger, that laptop…is real. And, according to Peter Schweizer, the Government Accountability Institute, the New York Post, Fox News and other conservative media outlets – “no duh.”

According to Breitbart, “The book reveals evidence that Hunter did ‘receive a 2015 email’ from an executive of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, ‘thanking him for the chance to meet Joe Biden,’ which underscores Joe’s direct involvement with Hunter’s business schemes.”

But this isn’t news at all. The Drill Down’s own Peter Schweizer confirmed that Joe benefited from Hunter’s dubious dealings last year. Here’s what Schweizer told Fox News 10 months before Schreckinger’s “The Bidens: Inside the First Family’s Fifty-Year Rise to Power.

“In the emails that have come out as well, Hunter Biden is quite explicit. In one particular communication with his daughter, he’s basically complaining that he pays half of the entire family’s bills. And he includes his mother and father in that and makes reference to pops,” said Schweizer.

“All this enrichment that has been taking place is also flowing to Joe Biden indirectly through his son, but the fact of the matter is, he’s still a beneficiary, a direct beneficiary, of these foreign deals,” Schweizer told Maria Bartiromo.

This information has been reported on and corroborated by many sources. But even as recently as last week, the New York Times was calling the laptop “unsubstantiated.” (Which, according to the New York Post, was quietly corrected.)

“I have not taken a penny from any foreign source ever in my life,” Biden said during one of the Presidential debates with President Donald Trump. Really, Joe? Because it’s sounding like even your mainstream media allies are starting to think you did.

But despite all the evidence, there’s still resistance. Politico said of Schreckinger’s reporting: “While the leak contains genuine files, it remains possible that fake material has been slipped in.”

What’s it going to take?
