How Close Are Tim Walz's Ties to China? Just Ask the U.S. State Department [WATCH]

During a recent interview on Real America’s Voice, GAI Director of Research Seamus Bruner revealed that it’s the State Department that designated the United Front Work Group an intelligence arm of the CCP.

…and Tim Walz was a guest speaker at UFWG-tied events.

“The United Front — it is pretty well known in intelligence circles that that is an intelligence arm overseas for the Chinese Communist Party; that’s a spy-linked apparatus,” Bruner said.

“The CPFFC, multiple Chinese friendship committee-type acronyms — that’s who is hosting these events where Tim Walz is an honored guest and speaker,” Bruner added.

Bruner continued: “And you mentioned the secret [Beijing] police stations we know about from the US Department of Justice who busted one up. The Chinese call them ‘Overseas Chinese Service Centers.’ There’s one in Minnesota, of all places. There are seven that we know of.”

“They’re in New York, Chicago, San Francisco — I mean, you wouldn’t want a secret Beijing police station anywhere in America, but why the heck is it in Minneapolis, Minnesota? It’s this entity called the Chinese Americans Association of Minnesota,” Bruner added.

“What these police stations do is many people flee China criticizing Beijing, criticizing communism — they’re dissidents. They seek asylum in the United States. Beijing doesn’t like those people. It wants to track them down. It wants to harass, intimidate, maybe even disappear them.”

“That’s why the Department of Justice busted one of these outfits. Well, it’s in Minneapolis. It’s in Tim Walz’s state,” Bruner added.

Last year, The Daily Caller reported on the secret Chinese police stations in the U.S. in an article titled Chinese Intel Arm Quietly Operates ‘Service Centers’ In 7 US Cities.

From The Daily Caller:

A Chinese intelligence agency quietly operates “service centers” in seven American cities, all of which have had contact with Beijing’s national police authority, according to state media reports and government records reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) United Front Work Department (UFWD) — which at least one U.S. government commission has characterized as a “Chinese intelligence service” — operates so-called “Overseas Chinese Service Centers” (OCSCs) that are housed within various U.S.-based nonprofits. OCSCs were ostensibly set up to promote Chinese culture and assist Chinese citizens living abroad, according to Chinese government records.
