Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton joined Peter Schweizer and Eric Eggers during a recent episode of The Drill Down to discuss his work to remove more than four million non-citizens from voter registration rolls across the country in the past four years.
“I always thought the border invasion was never about getting more, getting the Hispanic vote. I always thought it was about getting the illegal alien vote,” Fitton told Schweizer and Eggers on DD. “And it’s just a numbers game. I mean, we’re supposed to pretend that you have what, how many voting age or near voting age, non-citizens present in the United States both lawfully and unlawfully? 20 million, 30 million? I don’t know.”
Fitton continues: “None of them are registered to vote. None of them vote. It’s a numbers game. Of course they’re voting! And the question is, where are they voting? How’s it happening? And are we sufficient? Does the law sufficiently curtail it or curtail the threat of it happening? Which is as important when you’re running elections — you want the people to think their votes count. Otherwise, they won’t come!”
This week, Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Constitution Party of Oregon and two lawfully registered voters of Umatilla County and Marion County, Oregon, against Lavonne Griffin-Valade in her official capacity as Oregon Secretary of State and the State of Oregon, to make “a reasonable effort to remove” the registrations of ineligible registrants from the voter rolls as required by federal law (Judicial Watch, et al. v. The State of Oregon et al.
Since President Biden took office, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has logged more than 7.8 million illegal border crossings, plus at least 1.5 million “gotaways.”
