FEDERAL GHOST TOWNS! Eggers Talks New GAI Report, Feds Not Showing Up to Work [WATCH]

Vice President of the Government Accountability Institute and co-host of The Drill Down podcast Eric Eggers guested on Newsmax’s America Right Now to discuss a new report from GAI that reveals most federal offices use 25% or less of their available building capacity.

The government pays $2 billion dollars a year just to maintain real estate —regardless of its capacity. COVID only exacerbated matters with remote work policies.

The DOJ had just 1 in 3 employees showing up to work in the office, according to GAI.

“It’s an incredibly damning indictment the report has,” Eggers says.
