This is a bit of a mess…

According to multiple reports, Fulton County D.A. Fani Willis, who criminally indicted former President and 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, is said to have hired her romantic partner to prosecute Trump and paid that partner more than $600,000 dollars.

The new motion, filed on behalf of former Trump campaign official and co-defendant Michael Roman, cites “sources close to both the special prosecutor and the district attorney” as confirming “they had an ongoing, personal relationship.”

Former President Trump reacted to the bombshell on TRUTH Social.

Has everybody seen the revelation, just announced in the Great State of Georgia, that the Fulton County D.A., Fani Willis, who Criminally Indicted your Favorite President, ME(!), & many other Innocent People/Patriots, HIRED & EXORBITANTLY PAID a “Romantic Partner” to Prosecute the 45th President of the United States of America, & then “financially benefited from their relationship.” In other words, he was paid a “fortune,” & then took “Beautiful” Fani on expensive, but all paid for by Georgia, vacations to faraway lands!

In addition to Wade’s relationship with Willis, it’s now being reported that Wade had two meetings at the White House before charging former President Trump.

From Fox News:

Wade billed the county for a May 23, 2022, event described as “Travel to Athens; Conf with White House Counsel.” Wade charged $2,000 for eight hours at $250 an hour.

Several months later, Wade billed for an “Interview with DC/White House” on Nov. 18, 2022. Wade, again, charged $2,000 for eight hours at $250 an hour, according to the documents.

The subject of the meetings remains unclear.

What is clear, however, is all the red flags —and the GOP is likely to pounce.

“Fani Willis’ alleged romantic partner/special prosecutor coordinated with the White House while building the political prosecution of Donald Trump,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., posted on X reacting to the filing Tuesday. “All on the taxpayer dime.”

“It has become increasingly clear that the Biden White House is directing these baseless, political prosecutions against President Trump because they know they cannot beat him fair and square at the ballot box,” MAGA Inc. spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told Fox News Digital. “This latest news about Fani Willis is disturbing, yet sadly unsurprising.”
