'EXTREME CYNICISM': Devine Says Major Questions Remain Around US Government's Role In Assassination Attempt, Doubts FBI Will Do Anything [WATCH]

While speaking with Peter Schweizer and Eric Eggers about her new book The Big Guy, New York Post columnist and best-selling author Miranda Devine was asked about her take on the recent assassination attempts against former President Donald Trump.

“If the highest levels of the American intelligence apparatus essentially helped deliver the last election for Joe Biden by lying about legitimate intelligence that showed how compromised Joe and Hunter Biden were. How does that inform your assessment of the fact that there have now been two assassination attempts on Donald Trump?” Eggers asked Devine.

“How does what you’ve lived through with everything related to the intelligence in that letter inform your perception of the assassination attempts?” Eggers added.

“Extreme cynicism is my attitude that the FBI is going to do anything about exposing really what’s behind these assassination attempts,” Devine answered.

Devine continued: “We know there were five eyes countries that were trying to warn, the Biden-Harris administration that there were severe threats to Donald Trump’s life. And they were alarmed at the, lackadaisical security around Donald Trump. That was before the first assassination attempt. Now we see that even after Donald Trump was shot in the ear and almost died, could have been killed … Even after that very serious attempt. Still, the Secret Service and the Biden-Harris administration is not giving him adequate, security. And so that raises a big red flag.”
