Vice President of the Government Accountability Institute Eric Eggers says there’s reason to be suspicious of a recent presidential pardon for a Chinese national charged with having 47,000 graphic images of children on his computer.
Eggers recently joined Chris Salcedo on NEWSMAX to discuss the strange pardon along with Joe Biden’s pardon of embattled First Son Hunter Biden; Salcedo first asked Eggers about the pardon of the Chinese national.
“According to police records, this Chinese national had thousands of very disturbing and violent images on his computer. Reports say some were of child rape. Many are asking what kind of person could let this monster go? And others are asking, why does China want it back so badly? If indeed this prisoner swap story is true, what do you say?” Salcedo asked Eggers.
“I can’t speak to the appeal to China of somebody who has 47,000 graphic images of children on their computer,” Eggers answered. “But I can say this is the reason why we’ve been making such a big deal about Joe Biden and his family’s financial ties to the government of China.”
Eggers continued: “It’s interesting that Hunter Biden, who was also been a beneficiary of pardons and leniency from his father, started an unprecedented $1.5 billion business deal with the Chinese Communist Party exactly the same month that his immunity deal began with his
father.”
“You also have ties to the Chinese military and espionage complex to the tune of $31 million. that’s funneled its way to the Biden family. And you wonder ‘Why would China do that?’ Things like this, I think, are appropriately evaluated in that context.”
According to a Just The News report, President Biden commuted the prison sentences of three Chinese nationals convicted in espionage, child pornography, and a fraud case just a few days before issuing a controversial pardon to his son Hunter.
Officials told Just the News that the clemency for the three Chinese nationals was part of a prisoner swap with China for three Americans wrongfully detained there.
