During a recent episode of The Drill Down, GAI President Peter Schweizer and VP Eric Eggers zeroed in on the suspicious timing of the pardon and the time frame it covers.
Could there be even more Hunter Biden crimes Americans don’t know about?
“It’s a very specific time frame,” Eggers said. “We’re talking about January 1st, 2014 to December 1st, 2024.”
“Which means Hunter might have done something in October that nobody knows about!” Schweizer said, jumping in.
“How honest did they get a Thanksgiving dinner?” Eggers joked, later asking “What happened on January 1st, 2014? Why does it matter that immunity kicks in then?”
Schweizer, ready for the question, covered much of this in his books Secret Empires, Profiles in Corruption, and Red-Handed.
“What’s happening in January 2014? Everything. Everything okay. Remember in December of 2013, just a couple of weeks before, in mid-December, Hunter Biden flies on Air Force Two with his dad and secures the deal in China,” Schweizer said. “And they actually sign the papers in January when they return.”
Schweizer continued: “So, the January 1st, 2014 date, number one, means now anything involving the China money is subject to not being prosecuted.”
“So, this Chinese, one-half-billion dollar joint venture deal between the Chinese Communist Party and Hunter Biden’s financial investment firm … this deal with China was so shady that one of Hunter Biden’s business partners in other deals, John Kerry’s stepson Chris Hines, said ‘Hey guys, this is too much … I will not do that,'” Eggers added.
“That business deal starts the same time this immunity begins,” Eggers said.
“So, China, that deal, cannot be prosecuted,” Schweizer adds.
Schweizer elaborates, stating that Hunter Biden’s potential corruption and FARA violations can no longer be prosecuted for shady moves in Ukraine and Russia, as well.
