“The conversation is already changing.”
GAI Vice President Eric Eggers says that, even before he’s officially confirmed (or not), Robert F. Kennedy is having a profound impact on the discourse surrounding America’s health.
Eggers made the comments during a recent appearance on Allen Jackson Now.
Eggers reacted to a recent clip of RFK Jr., saying the following:
“They should not have confidence in the people who are managing our pandemic. We have the worst record of any country in the world, so we had 16% of the Covid deaths in the United States of America. We only had 4.2% of the globe’s population. So whatever we were doing in this country was the worst of every country.”
Kennedy also didn’t deny America might benefit from cleaning house at the FDA and CDC.
“I think the conversation is already changing. I’ve heard more people talk about red dye in the last couple of weeks than I’ve ever heard in my life,” Eggers said. “So, I think people are at least starting to have an honest conversation about what food companies are allowed to put into our food and why, and why they’re not allowed to do that in other countries.”
Eggers added: “And I think that’s the beginning of an acceptance that we are unhealthy on a global scale, and that needs to change.”
