Hunter Biden is guilty.
Now that the First Son has been convicted on three counts related to federal gun charges, prominent Conservative voices are weighing in on X. Are they satisfied? Or is there more work to be done? Have the Bidens finally been brought to justice?
The conservative consensus: this is far from over.
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer stresses this is just the beginning.
“Hunter Biden’s sweetheart plea deal was smoked out after scrutiny by a federal judge,” Comer shared on X. “Today’s verdict is a step toward accountability but until the Department of Justice investigates everyone involved in the Bidens’ corrupt influence peddling schemes that generated over $18 million in foreign payments to the Biden family, it will be clear department officials continue to cover for the Big Guy, Joe Biden.”
House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik echoed Comer’s sentiments about “accountability” but stressed the investigation into the “Biden Crime Family” must go on.
“We must and will continue to investigate the Biden Crime Family for their corrupt influence peddling schemes that generated over $18 million in foreign payments for the Biden Crime Family.”
“Don’t get it twisted,” podcast host Comfortably Smug declared on X, adding, “they went after Hunter on this, so they don’t have to go after him on crimes that would bring down Biden. Don’t take your eyes off the ball.”

Conservative digital strategist Greg Price thinks Hunter Biden’s conviction on gun charges is part of a long-term play by the Biden DOJ that ultimately leads to the imprisonment of Donald Trump.
“Hunter Biden being convicted of a firearms charge is the ultimate red herring of red herrings. The DOJ allowed the statute of limitations [to] expire on his most serious tax charges, buried evidence of the Bidens’ foreign bribery allegations, and attempted to give Hunter a sweetheart deal with broad immunity. David Weiss wouldn’t go after him on the serious tax charges or on FARA because all of that would lead back to the shady business dealings involving his father.”
He added, “Instead, they went after him for a much lesser charge, where the evidence was way too insurmountable to ignore, so they can scream ‘nobody is above the law’ when they put President Trump in jail.”
Conservative commentator Ian Miles Cheong shared similar thoughts as Price, saying “With Hunter Biden’s guilty verdict, Joe and the mainstream media can now claim that ‘no one is above the law’ and continue attacking Trump by pretending that Trump’s charges were legitimate.”
Pro-Trump attorney Rogan O’Handley, known as DC Draino on X, says now it’s time to go after the Bidens for their more serious crimes.
“HUNTER BIDEN GUILTY ON ALL 3 CHARGES. Now can we put him on trial for the actual crimes people care about like the foreign bribes in China, Ukraine, and other countries that he took on behalf of Joe Biden?”
During a recent interview on Fox News, Oversight Chair Comer told host Maria Bartiromo that an impeachment report is “imminent” and the Biden family “committed many crimes.”
“I think that it’s no secret Joe Biden’s committed many crimes, and I think that you’re going to see a report very soon. That report is imminent,” Comer said. “That will probably be an interim report that updates everyone on the crimes that Biden and his administration have committed throughout this investigation and through the years of the Obama-Biden administration.”
Hunter Biden’s guilty verdict is a good first step, but it’s just the beginning.
