Hillary Hired Fusion GPS for the Trump Dirt —But Said She Spent the Cash Elsewhere.

2022 is shaping up to be the year that proves everything we knew in 2020 is still true today: Hunter Biden’s laptop, Hillary paying for the Trump dossier —all of it, finally being widely accepted by mainstream media outlets and some of the idiot box’s most liberal pundits.

The latest developments on Hillary for America and Fusion GPS, the research firm used by Clinton’s campaign to dig up dirt on Trump, finds Clinton & Co. guilty of lying to the Federal Election Commission about what they were spending their money on.

You lie, you’re fined. Hillary Clinton and the DNC have been fined more than $120K —and they’ve agreed to pay those fines in what feels like the quietest admission of guilt the 24-hour news cycle has ever witnessed (only, it isn’t —more on that in a minute). Here’s the legalese:

“After conducting an investigation in this matter, the Commission found probable cause to believe that the DNC Services Corp./Democratic National Committee and Virginia McGregor in her official capacity as treasurer (the “DNC”) violated 52 U.S.C. § 30104(b)(5)(A) and (b)(6)(B)(v) and 11 C.F.R.§ 104.3(b)(3)(i),” the memo said. “The Commission further found probable cause to believe that Hillary for America and Elizabeth Jones in her official capacity as treasurer (“HFA”) violated 52 U.S.C.§ 30104(b)(5)(A) and 11 C.F.R. § 104.3(b)(4)(i).”

You have to disclose all expenditures over $200. Clinton and the DNC lied about some of those expenditures, maintaining the payments in question were made to law firm Perkins Coie —who definitely didn’t turn around and hire Fusion GPS to make a trumped up dossier (pun intended).

“The memo states that on Feb. 17 of this year, the DNC and Clinton campaign signed conciliation agreements, where they did not admit wrongdoing and maintained the position that money spent on hiring Perkins Coie [who hired Fusion GPS] was meant for legal fees, but agreed not to contest the findings of probable cause in order to settle the matter,” Fox News reports.

We’re not guilty of this crime, but we’ll pay the fine anyway – like total innocents.

“The research conducted by Fusion GPS ultimately included the notorious Trump dossier compiled by ex-British spy Christopher Steele. The dossier was used to justify Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in the early stages of the FBI’s Russia investigation, despite it not being verified,” Fox reports.

Yeah, it kind of became this whole thing, huh? Tarnished Trump, spawned conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory —ruined the American Presidency for four years.

But hey, MSNBC and CNN had good ratings.
