So this is a mess…

Quintez Brown was a prominent participant of BLM and Defund the Police protests following the May 2020 death of George Floyd. According to his family, he suffers from mental health issues —he even made headlines when he disappeared for two weeks last summer.

Now he’s making headlines for something far more serious.

According to Fox News, Brown, 21, was charged with attempted murder and four counts of wanton endangerment after he entered Democratic Mayoral Candidate Craig Greenberg’s campaign HQ in Butchertown, KY, and fired multiple shots from a 9mm Glock handgun.

Brown was taken into custody on Monday. By Wednesday, BLM raised and paid his 100K bail.

“Why would BLM pay bail for the alleged shooter who targeted a Jewish mayoral candidate?” tweeted Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn. But the “why” might not be as interesting as the “how.” 100K is a lot of scratch for a local BLM chapter to raise on such short notice.

It was all thanks to support from prominent Democratic organizations.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, “the bail fund…has an active page on ActBlue, the political fundraising platform used universally by Democratic candidates across the country. Justice Democrats—a far-left PAC that supports Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) and Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.)—also actively fundraises for the bail group on the platform.”

“Contributions sent to the Louisville Community Bail Fund through ActBlue are routed through the Tides Center, a liberal dark money behemoth that has received millions of dollars from [George] Soros. Tides gave nearly $740,000 to the bail fund in 2020, tax filings show.”

So raising that much cash on that short notices isn’t that difficult with Soros on speed dial

The BLM Louisville chapter defended bailing out the would-be assassin on Twitter in a nearly nonsensical tweet storm.

“The guy we bailed out needed support,” one tweet read. “Applying pressure on the community work to (sic) address a huge issue affecting specific community members- Black, Brown and poor folks- is ill-served,” another response from BLM Louisville read. “You absolutely know the resources folks in this city are demanded (sic) to end poverty laws [and] reduce incarceration rates as well as crime,” the thread continued.

“TBH it’s troubling seeing folks gamble with people’s lives. You want to fight injustice and ignore the impacts. Wild world”

“We should do away with jail all together and fund the necessary preventative measures folks beg @louisvillemayor budget every year”

TL;DR — progressive word soup.
