Vice President Kamala Harris doesn’t need any help tanking her future prospects for higher office —she’s doing just fine on her own, thank you very much. The Veep is currently enjoying a less than 40 percent job approval rating on the Real Clear Politics average.
But for Kamala Queen of Cringe™ there’s always room to go lower.
The latest head scratcher out of Camp Kamala – certain to send her approval even lower – is the Veep’s decision to essentially absolve China of any wrongdoing in the coronavirus outbreak that has killed 5.3 million people worldwide. A strange, unforced error even for her.
According to the Washington Examiner, “[When] asked this week about the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases in the United States, Harris responded with an answer that included an aside about how no one is to blame for the virus being in America. This is true so long as you ignore that the Chinese government’s efforts to cover up the outbreak helped it to spread to every corner of the planet.”
“I don’t think this is a moment to talk about fault,” Harris told CBS News’s Margaret Brennan. “It is no one’s fault that this virus hit our shores or hit the world. But it is more about individual power and responsibility and the decisions that everyone has the choice to make.”

China punished whistleblowers that tried to sound the alarm on COVID —censorship is an oft used tactic by the CCP as they are constantly trying to spin narratives that fly in the face of reality (see Human Rights Abuses).
Many efforts by the international community to investigate COVID’s origins were blocked by China, including restricting access to important research documents and preventing WHO members touring certain areas of the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Finally, China’s disinformation campaign proves they’ve been trying to obstruct the truth since the beginning; hiring contractors to create fake social media profiles defending the CCP’s response to the outbreak, as well as strong-arming media outlets to censor negative press.

Then there was the fact that 26 of 27 scientists who trashed the lab leak theory had connections to the Wuhan Lab either by funding or researcher acquaintances.
