GAI President Peter Schweizer joined Liz Wheeler on BlazeTV to discuss his new book, The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon, arguing that immigration is being used as a tool to reshape U.S. politics and society.
Schweizer says foreign actors — including Mexico, China, and the Muslim Brotherhood — have exploited U.S. immigration policies to build influence inside the country.
And American elites have enabled those efforts for political gain.
Schweizer says Mexican officials have openly discussed reclaiming U.S. territory through demographic change, and he alleged Mexico’s consular network in the United States has acted as a political organizing force.
“I admit I had the view a lot of people have, that the Mexican government is corrupt and kind of hapless. But, the fact is, they actually have erected a remarkable infrastructure inside the United States that is designed to create what they call Greater Mexico, these portions of the United States,” Schweizer said.
(Mexico maintains 53 consulates in the U.S., which have helped our southern neighbor organize protests and interfere in U.S. elections.)
Schweizer also alleges China has leveraged birthright citizenship “at scale,” claiming that 100,000 Chinese babies have been born annually in the U.S. since 2013 and later raised in China to influence American politics.
“Our adversary foreign government is telling their officials to come to the United States and get citizenship for their children. They estimate, based on their data, that in the last 13 years, roughly 100,000 every year. Chinese children are born in the United States and then taken back to China. Do the simple math. That’s more than a million U.S. citizens living in China and being raised there,” Schweizer said.
Schweizer also discussed how Islamist leaders have encouraged welfare fraud as a form of religious warfare, and he alleged billionaire Neville Roy Singham has funded CCP-aligned radical movements from Shanghai.
As remedies, Schweizer proposed policy changes, including ending dual citizenship, overhauling visa programs, and closing Mexican consulates, which he described as acting as political activists.
