GAI Research Director appeared on the Morning Wire podcast to detail GAI’s ongoing investigation into the funding networks that are bankrolling protest movements in American cities, including the “No Kings” protests conducted this past weekend.
“We found dozens of official organizers and partner organizations that are facilitating, enabling, and running these ‘No Kings’ protests,” said GAI Research Director Seamus Bruner. “By and large, they were mostly peaceful,” Bruner told the podcast hosts. “But across the country there were some violent ones,” he added, citing arrests in Portland, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
“All the focus on the ‘No Kings’ protest has drawn attention to the organizations fueling them,” begins Morning Wire host Amanda Prestigiacomo. “Now, a new report from Peter Schweizer and his Government Accountability Institute found nearly $300 million from billionaire backed organizers is being funneled into the protest’s organizers.”
The “No Kings” protests are a response from the political Left to President Donald Trump’s nationwide crime crackdown.
