The CCP Invasion of American Universities

Peter Schweizer, President of the Government Accountability Institute, joined Fox Business Network’s Kudlow with David Asman to expose how the Chinese Communist Party is covertly influencing U.S. elections and politics.

Schweizer also warned about the risks of the Trump administration potentially allowing 600,000 Chinese students to study in the U.S., noting these students are often closely monitored by Beijing and used as “tools of the state.”

Beijing’s methods are sophisticated—far more subtle than Russia’s blunt tactics—and include injecting money into American political campaigns and shaping political outcomes, Schweizer said.

Schweizer is the author of two books Blood Money and Red Handed, both of which are about the many ways China seeks to undermine American politics and American society generally. He highlighted Maoist billionaire Neville Roy Singham’s role in bankrolling pro-CCP candidates, particularly New York mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani.

“The government of India has tried to shut down [Singham’s] operations in their country on the grounds that he’s running CCP propaganda operations. So, his injection of money into the New York mayoral campaign is not surprising. It will probably be large, and I imagine we’re going to see a lot of people linked to the CCP and so-called united front groups in New York funding his campaign as well,” Schweizer said.

“They target candidates that are anti-CCP and critical, but they support and coalesce around those that are advancing the interests of the Chinese Communist Party,” Schweizer said.
