Seamus Bruner, Director of Research at the Government Accountability Institute, joined Tom Basile on Newsmax’s Sunday Agenda to lay out explosive new whistleblower claims against Rep. Adam Schiff. A former Schiff staffer has testified that the congressman signed off on leaking classified material in 2017 — an effort to wound President Trump while shielding himself and Hillary Clinton.
Bruner cast the revelation as part of a darker pattern: the Obama Justice Department quashing Clinton Foundation probes, Russiagate hobbling Trump’s first term, and the Biden family’s scandals swept aside. In his telling, it all adds up to the same design—the intelligence agencies and justice system turned into weapons, not against America’s enemies, but against Trump and the people he represents.
“This is big news. This is a career Democrat. This is not a political whistleblower. This person worked for Adam Schiff, was in the room, and revealed that Adam Schiff was weaponizing classified intelligence not to protect America, but to protect himself, his own ambitions, and to protect Hillary Clinton,” Bruner said.
“It’s egregious,” Bruner added.
Bruner said there’s “absolutely” enough Schiff evidence to take to a grand jury.
“He’s just one piece in this whole thing. You had the Obama DOJ saying shut it down on the Clinton investigation. So they simultaneously closed all investigations into the pay-to-play and bribery allegations facing the Clinton Foundation. And there was a ton of evidence there,” Bruner said.
“This was one big conspiracy to get Trump.”
