Director of Research at the Government Accountability Institute, Seamus Bruner, joined Carl Higbie on Newsmax’s Carl Higbie Frontline to walk viewers through a gallery of high-profile political hypocrisy.
He began with Nancy Pelosi, recounting what he described as a long history of alleged insider trading — using legislative knowledge to her own financial advantage while sidestepping reform measures like the STOCK Act.
“Congressional insider trading is a huge problem. And it’s personified by none other than Nancy ‘Stock Queen’ Pelosi,” Bruner said. “She’s been doing this for decades, really. We exposed, back in 2013, some of the Visa trades that she had done in 2008, 2009, she got these preferential IPO shares.”
Bruner continued: “She knows when the legislation that will benefit things like the CHIPS Act or things like the Inflation Reduction Act, the green new scam that Biden passed. And so before that gets passed, and while she was speaker, she could bring to the floor or kill a bill, and that would affect her stock portfolio.”
Bruner’s comments follow President Trump’s TRUTH Social post in which he called out Pelosi for insider trading, calling her a “disgusting degenerate.”
