In November of 2021, Fufeng Group Ltd.—an American subsidiary of a Chinese company, announced that is chose Grand Forks, ND as a United States manufacturing site. Coincidentally, the 370 acres purchased for the manufacturing site was directly next to “a US Air Force base that houses sensitive drone technology”.
In total, China owns roughly 352,140 acres of United States agricultural and non-agricultural land, these acres fall within the 37.6 million owned by foreign investors. Listen to Peter and Eric discuss the national security threat that lies just within United States farmland.
