The Biden Border Solution: More Facilities to Get Migrants in Even Faster.

Plans Reveal Three New Facilities That Can Process 1,000 Migrants at a Time.

At this point, we have to consider the Biden Administration is gaslighting us.

Earlier this month, President of the Laredo Border Patrol Hector Garza, told CNN that the “overall sentiment” among agents was “a sense of frustration and concern for what’s happening on the border,” pointing to issues of human trafficking and drug smuggling.

This comment was dropped while DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was barnstorming border towns, speaking with Border Patrol agents and getting a sense of what they needed.

I’m fairly certain BP agents didn’t ask for more processing facilities —but that’s what they got.

“An internal document sent to senior Customs and Border Protection officials, obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, describes plans by the agency to construct three permanent processing facilities for up to 1,000 migrants at a time in Del Rio, Laredo, and El Paso, Texas. An existing temporary U.S. Border Patrol processing site in Yuma, Ariz., will double in size and also be made permanent.”

“The decision was made, according to the document, after analyzing surge patterns from migrants. The permanent facilities will replace temporary facilities in the same sectors. The sectors in the memo have faced some of the highest numbers of migrants in the entire country. Del Rio, for example, saw more than 259,000 migrants apprehended in the 2021 fiscal year,” WFB adds.

This is the exact opposite of a solution —it doubles down on crazy. And it doesn’t exactly address Agent Garza’s concerns about human trafficking and drug smuggling.

A few fast facts…

Governor Greg Abbott’s “Operation Lonestar” seized nearly 12,000 lbs of fentanyl last year —enough to kill 222 million Americans. Here’s what President Biden had to say: Nothing.

Last month in Fronton, Texas Border Patrol agents were shot at while apprehending migrants illegally crossing into the United States across the Rio Grande. Here’s what President Biden had to say about that incident: Nothing.

Last year, Border Patrol agents on horseback were apprehending migrants fleeing authorities while trying to cross into the United States. Initial reports —that were later debunked —claimed that the agents were whipping the migrants. Here’s what President Biden said about that:

“I promise you those people will pay,” Biden said of the agents during a White House press conference. “There will be consequences … It’s dangerous, it’s wrong. It sends the wrong message around the world, it sends the wrong message at home. It’s simply not who we are.”

The Biden Border is perhaps his biggest failure —and that’s saying a lot for this presidency.
