Schweizer’s Warning: Mamdani's Mayoral Bid is Qatar’s Quiet Power Play [LISTEN]

Schweizer’s talk with Beck was equal parts revelation and warning.

Government Accountability Institute President and New York Times bestselling author Peter Schweizer joined Glenn Beck’s radio program to unpack what he called the troubling foreign ties behind Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral bid in New York City.

Should Big Apple residents be concerned? Schweizer says absolutely — and he has uncovered evidence that the royal family of Qatar bankrolled the Mamdani family through his mother’s film projects, and that those same interests are now promoting his campaign online.

“They are out on social media pushing for his campaign,” Schweizer said. “Mamdani even went on Qatari TV to talk about the US funding genocide in Palestine.”

Mamdani, now the frontrunner in the race for New York City mayor, has become a lightning rod for controversy.

“He and his family are joined at the hip to the Qatari royal family,” Schweizer said. “This is the same family that in the 1990s protected Khalid Sheikh Mohammed,” he added — a chilling reference to the mastermind of 9/11, wanted by the FBI years before the attacks.

A foreign fortune, a radical message, and a city on the line — Schweizer’s findings raise a stark question: who’s really backing New York’s next mayor?
