Schweizer: The Crisis Is Bigger Than Immigration — It’s an Internal Influence Fight [WATCH]

Peter Schweizer, the New York Times best-selling author and president of the Government Accountability Institute, is making the case that the United States is facing a threat far broader than illegal immigration or ordinary criminality.

In an interview with Steve Bannon, Schweizer framed the current moment as what he calls “civilizational warfare,” arguing that adversaries are not simply testing America’s borders or exploiting loopholes, but building political and action networks inside the U.S. over time.

In his view, the goal is long-term influence — systems of leverage that can shape outcomes from within.

Schweizer argued that responding to that kind of challenge requires more than enforcement at the margins. He called for dismantling foreign influence operations, shutting down what he described as excessive consular footprints, and expelling diplomats and political actors who interfere in American politics.

“This is not just about bad hombres. This is not just about wages — those are important issues — but this is about civilizational warfare,” Schweizer told Bannon. “It’s not just about kicking criminals out of the country; it is about deconstructing the political networks and the action networks that our adversaries have put up in our country.”

Schweizer continued: “Mexico does not need fifty-three consulates. China and the UK get by with six and seven. We also need to kick out of the country political figures and diplomats that are meddling in our politics. They’ve formed alliances with non-profit organizations. Foreign governments should not be doing that in the United States for the sake of political action.”

He highlighted what he described as a striking national security concern: the United States training thousands of Chinese pilots on student visas, warning that some may later serve the People’s Liberation Army.

“Right now, in the United States, we are training, literally, thousands of Chinese pilots who are going to be flying for the People’s Liberation Army Air Force — and they will be facing off against our pilots. It happens because these people come here on student visas … they’re training in our flight schools and will be facing off against our pilots in the future.”

…Bannon couldn’t believe it.

Schweizer also warned that birthright citizenship is being exploited at scale, describing a coming “Manchurian generation” of U.S.-citizen voters raised in China.

Bannon, for his part, framed Schweizer’s work as deeply researched and capable of driving real policy change—casting the author’s warning as a roadmap for action rather than just another political argument.

About The Invisible Coup

Every day, ICE is arresting hundreds of illegal immigrants with a criminal record. They didn’t just come here. They were sent here.

Our debates about immigration revolve around what happens with immigrants once they arrive.
We need to start talking about who is sending them and why. For decades, establishment elites
sold us the story of immigration as a compassionate renewal of the American Dream within a harmonious melting pot.

But beneath that narrative lies a different reality: Mass migration has morphed into the most powerful political weapon ever aimed at the United States—one engineered by elites at home and aided by adversaries abroad. Now Peter Schweizer, the bestselling investigative journalist of our time, is blowing the lid off this whole series of schemes.

Schweizer detonates a political shock wave eclipsing his past bombshells, revelations that have sparked FBI probes and bipartisan reforms.

Urgent, shocking, and overflowing with national security implications, The Invisible Coup makes
America’s greatest political threat visible for all to see—and solve.
