SCHWEIZER ON GAETZ: How The FBI Buried the Truth of the Clinton Cash Cover-up [WATCH]

Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute and author of Clinton Cash, joined Matt Gaetz on OANN’s The Matt Gaetz Show to discuss newly declassified memos that he says reveal how Justice Department leadership shut down multiple FBI field probes into the Clinton Foundation.

According to Schweizer, field agents had uncovered pay-to-play evidence, only to see it buried by their superiors as the department turned its energies toward fabricating the Russia collusion narrative against Donald Trump.

There were at least four FBI field offices investigating the Clintons.

“The field officers wanted to pursue this. They were very professional. And then, almost immediately in, by early 2016, I was starting to get reports indirectly that leadership was shutting this down,” Schweizer said.

Schweizer continued: “At the same time that they are killing an organic investigation that was launched by these four FBI field offices that had evidence that were gathering evidence about corruption and pay to play involving also Russia, by the way, they were also creating a completely fictional investigation based on no corroborating evidence whatsoever that Donald Trump was tied to Russia.”

Schweizer and Gaetz cast the episode as part of a larger pattern — the evolution of Washington corruption into something “offshored” and “globalized,” with political families selling access and foreign oligarchs buying influence.

Schweizer argued that his book, Clinton Cash, is more relevant today than when it was first published, and urged reforms to restore transparency and accountability inside the FBI.
