Just how dangerous is becoming too reliant on Amazon? GAI Director of Research and author of the book Controligarchs Seamus Bruner says Americans must completely cut the mega-retailer out of their lives.
Burner issued the warning during a recent appearance on Mike Huckabee Today.
“A lot of people bought the electronic devices through Amazon called ‘Alexa,’ and it sounds like, oh,
what a wonderful thing. ‘Alexa, What’s the weather today? Alexa, what is the state capital of North Dakota?’ And Alexa would answer,” the former governor told Bruner.
Huckabee continued: “But what people don’t realize is that old Alexa is listening to every single thing going on in your house, and people suddenly started saying, maybe I don’t want somebody listening to every single thing in my house. How do people shake off these intrusive electronic devices?”
Bruner likened using the convenient services of Amazon to “slipping into a warm bubble bath of tyranny.”
“It’s difficult. I mean, I myself have succumbed to the convenience, from time to time of Amazon and all of these apps and websites and services — it’s sort of like slipping into a warm bubble bath of tyranny.”
Bruner continued: “What you really need to do is, one by one, cut these things out of your life. You need to find local — that’s the solution to these globalist-caused problems. You need to find local things you can buy — support local farmers’ markets. I know it seems sort of small, but the less money that you
give to Amazon and the other, controlling entities, the more we can take back our lives.”
