They never talked about Hunter’s business, remember? Joe Biden said so —then the White House doubled and tripled down on the claim.
Flashback to almost a year ago today…
“The president has said that he never spoke with his son about his overseas business dealings. Is that still the case?” Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked then-press secretary Jen Psaki at the White House daily press briefing.
“Yes,” Psaki replied, confirming the claim —this claim:
“I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings. Here’s what I know — I know Trump deserves to be investigated… You should be looking at Trump. Trump’s doing this because he knows I’ll beat him like a drum.”
The Ol’ Trump Two-Step —Biden’s favorite move.
But now we know the White House visitor logs make one of Biden’s favorite tall tales even harder to believe…
According to Fox News, “Four business partners, a vice president, and two assistants at Hunter Biden’s now-defunct firm visited the White House more than 80 times when his father was vice president in the Obama administration, Fox News Digital has found.”
80(!) times Hunter’s business associates visited the White House —still sticking to that claim, Mr. President? “Never?” Really?
“Joan Mayer, who says she was the vice president of Hunter’s now-defunct investment firm Rosemont Seneca Advisors from 2008 to 2017 on Linkedin, made at least 17 visits to the White House during that time, according to visitor logs reviewed by Fox News Digital.”
Mayer even attended a vice presidential briefing in 2009 and met three of then-Vice President Joe Biden’s executive aides on three separate occasions.
She also attended the vice president’s holiday reception at his White House residence at Number One Observatory Circle.
How can President Biden expect us to believe he was never mixed up in Hunter’s business? Of course, this is no surprise to Peter Schweizer and the folks here at The Drill Down —he’s covered Biden Family Inc., including Joe’s Air Force Two jetride for Hunter’s associates, in New York Times best sellers Red-Handed and Secret Empires.
