They’re not the most reliable name in news, but they got one thing right.
CNN’s newsletter Reliable Sources (*stifles laugh*) can’t deny the success of Peter Schweizer’s new book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win. The newsletter said this about Schweizer’s latest bestseller:
“Red Handed” is red hot: The new book by Peter Schweizer, subtitled “How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win,” has all the makings of a huge hit, driven by anti-Biden stories and Schweizer’s interviews with Fox stars like Mark Levin. It has been #1 on Amazon almost all week and has well outpaced his previous book, “Clinton Cash.”
Thanks for the praise, CNN. But (surprise!) you got a few things wrong…
Peter’s previous book was actually the New York Times #1 bestseller, Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite. Before that, in 2018, Peter published Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends, which also became a number 1 NYT bestseller. Clinton Cash was published in 2015.
If you’re going to give credit where credit is due, why not give all the credit, CNN?
