EGGERS ON KELLY: Don't Count on a Quick Resolution in the Middle East [LISTEN]

GAI Vice President Eric Eggers spoke with Greg Kelly recently about the war breaking out between Israel and Iran in the Middle East; “It looks like it’s more decisive than anything Israel has done,” Kelly said.

“It just seems like they’re winning and that it could be over soon,” Kelly added.

Eggers wasn’t so sure about a quick resolution.

“You can play this tape back against me in a couple of weeks and say how stupid I am,” Eggers started, joking. “I don’t [think it will be quick], only because if you have global conflict like this, I mean, when’s the last major global conflict involving two heavyweights like this that resolved itself so quickly?”

Eggers continued: “It wasn’t Russia and Ukraine! That was supposed to be over in two weeks. What we do with the Government Accountability Institute and on our podcast … we try to talk about what the status quo is, how come the status quo doesn’t change, who’s making money off of it?”

Eggers took a shot at Lindsey Graham for taking an aggressive pro-war stance in the Middle East.

“There are a lot of people who see this as an opportunity for a lot of different things. I think Lindsey Graham might be one of them. The status quo is an ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. He wants that thing to keep going. And, man, he just it boggles my mind,” Eggers said.

Eggers also touches on the recent political assassinations in Minnesota, astroturfed protests, and more.
