During a recent episode of The Drill Down podcast, hosts Peter Schweizer and Eric Eggers exposed the obvious bias displayed by ABC News in the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
“The debate was going to be on ABC, and you had concerns from the beginning because one of the things that you’ve been aware of, as you’ve documented — Disney’s highest ranking TV executive, a woman named Dana Walden, has been a very good friend to Kamala Harris for a long time,” Eggers said while reviewing the debate with Schweizer.
“Yeah, she’s been a campaign donor,” Schweizer confirmed. “She gave money to the Biden campaign. And in 2022, she is considered one of Kamala Harris’ best friends. She introduced Kamala Harris to her husband, and
she’s donated to Kamala’s campaigns going back to 2003. Every election since then, she’s donated.”
Schweizer continued: “What Disney’s response when this was…it was she does not exert editorial control over ABC News. Now she runs ABC News. ABC News is under her authority, but she does not exert editorial control, which is ridiculous because she, of course, is going to determine who actually the moderators are.”
Eggers points out that Linsey Davis is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority — the same sorority as Kamala Harris.
Trump was interrupted and fact-checked more than a dozen times. Harris was left largely unchallenged, even on more egregious lies like comments hse made about Trump’s abortion stance and his connection to Project 2025.

Following the debate, former President Donald Trump called on ABC News to clean house.
“People are just starting to give me credit for having a GREAT DEBATE. The Voters and Voter Polls showed it, but the Fake News Media wasn’t giving the credit that was due. Now they are seeing the results with independent Voters, Evangelicals, and more — and saying, WOW!” Trump wrote.
“Remember, I wasn’t debating one person, I was debating three. They should fire everybody at ABC Fake News, whose two lightweight “anchors” have brought disgrace onto the company!,” Trump posted.
