Seamus Bruner, Director of Research at the Government Accountability Institute, joined Newsmax’s American Agenda program alongside Rick Gates and Deneen Borelli to discuss the Trump-Russia collusion narrative, recently exposed by the declassification of documents describing Oval Office meetings during the last days of former President Barack Obama’s administration.
Bruner emphasized the need for criminal prosecution of those involved, including Obama’s inner circle, to prevent future misuse of intelligence agencies and ensure fair elections. He highlighted Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s report, which contradicts previous claims that the 2016 Trump campaign colluded with Russia, and explained how Democrats used the “Russia Reset” to deflect from their own vulnerabilities, like Hillary Clinton’s uranium deal. The panel criticized media amplification of the hoax and called for DOJ accountability under Pam Bondi to address this “epic scandal.”
“People need to know why they [the Obama administration] chose Russia… It was because they had an appeasement strategy during the Obama administration. It was called the ‘Russia Reset,’ where they made all of these deals with Russia,” Bruner said. “They gave them all of their spies back. They canceled missile defense in Poland. Hillary Clinton famously approved the sale of uranium to Russia after receiving huge donations to her foundation. Bill Clinton gave a speech in Moscow for $500,000. As that was starting to pop up in the media cycles in 2015, they had tro make up a ‘projection deception,’ and so they chose Russia because that was Hillary Clinton’s largest vulnerability.”
“If They Skate on This, we can kiss fair elections goodbye,” Bruner said.
