I hadn't made the connection either, but one thing I did notice is I didn't like the 'new direction' TechCrunch had switched to. In my opinion it was confusing to navigate and I didn't really find anything of interest like I used to. I've started reading Mashable more now because of it. Sad to see the transformation ...
